Gluten free - Green gram Sandwich

An interesting yet nutritious gluten free, protein rich sandwich!

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Moong Dal
  • 60 g Paneer, Crumbled
  • 30 g Cheese Slice
  • 30 g Onion, Chopped
  • 30 g Capsicum, Chopped
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves, Finely Chopped
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • Red Chilli Powder/ Garam Masala- As Per Taste
  • 2 tsp Oil

Method
 

  1. Wash and soak moong dal for 6 hours
  2. In a mixie jar, add the moong dal, turmeric, salt and some water. Grind it to a batter consistency
  3. To this batter, add chopped vegetables, paneer, spices, salt and mix well.
  4. Heat the sandwich maker, grease it, pour the mixture, keep a cheese slice and again cover it with one more layer of batter.
  5. Cook on both sides until crisp
  6. Gluten free sandwich is ready to be served with mint chutney.
