A wholesome and flavourful Quinoa Upma made with fresh vegetables, aromatic spices, and protein-Rich Quinoa. A perfect gluten-free meal for a healthy breakfast or light lunch.

- To make quinoa upma, first wash the and drain the quinoa.
- Heat the oil in a kadai, add the mustard seeds, asafoetida and allow it to temper for a few seconds.
- Add the green chillies, ginger and curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add onions, saute’ on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Then add green peas and carrot and cook them for 2 minutes.
- Finally add the drained quinoa and saute on a medium flame for one minute. Add salt, chilli powder and 2 1/4 cups of hot water, mix well and cook it for about 20 minutes. Cover it with a lid. Keep stirring occasionally.
- Switch off the flame, add the coriander and lemon juice and mix well. Serve the quinoa veg upma hot!
