Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Kala Chana (brown chick peas)
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tsp Green Chilli Paste
  • 50 g Of Finely Chopped Onions
  • 50 g Of Finely Grated Carrots
  • 50 g Of Chopped Capsicum
  • 75 g Of Finely Chopped Tomatoes
  • ¼ tsp Chili Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Method
 

  1. Firstly, soak the kala chana in enough water in a deep bowl overnight. Next day, drain it.
  2. Add the chana and enough water in a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  3. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Drain and keep aside.
  4. Heat the butter in a deep non-stick kadhai, add the green chilli paste and onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till the onions turn translucent.
  5. Add the tomatoes, and other veggies, chilli powder, garam masala and chaat masala, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Add the chana, salt,coriander and lemon juice, mix well and cook on a medium flame for another 2 to3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  7. Enjoy the healthy snack.
